The 5C’s of remanufactured engines are: (Cylinder Heads, Cylinder Block, Crankshaft, Camshaft, and Connecting Rods). Each part has to pass different variances and tolerance test set by the manufacturer ie: (FORD, GM or Chrysler) otherwise those parts are replaced with new parts. This provides customers with a reliable, high-quality product, representing a convergence of value, performance, and environmental responsibility in the automotive industry.

Certainly! We can deliver your unit to your home or a shop of your choice. Our self-installation units come with clear instructions. You don᾿t need to be ASE certified for installation. Just follow the instructions, such as priming the oil pump correctly and documenting it with pictures. This won᾿t affect your warranty. Check leaflets in the PVC crane to see what needs to be transferred from your old motor for the installation.

Customers are eligible for a full refund on equipment costs if canceled before the shipping date. Once the order has shipped, a 15% restocking fee applies to all returned items.

Core deposits are refundable if the core is returned within 30 days of delivery. Instructions for returning the core are included in the information packet inside the crate. Please follow the core return sheet instructions to schedule a pickup. Once the core is received, please allow 2-4 weeks for the refund to be processed.

Refund requests will be denied if the product has been used or installed. Processing fees and shipping charges are non-refundable.

The unit available for purchase from Powertrain Max strictly adheres to the original specifications indicated by your VIN. While your vehicle might accommodate a compatible engine/transmission, we are unable to sell it without warranty coverage. This ensures the reliability and support you need for your purchase.

A remanufactured engine/transmission can have a lifespan comparable to a new engine. Regular maintenance and proper care are crucial for longevity.

Core deposits are refundable if core is returned within 30 days of delivery. Once core is received, please allow 2-4 weeks for a refund to be issued. We do not hold our customers to that time frame and actually give our customers up to 6 months after receiving your unit to return your core for a full core refund. If not received back within that time frame we use your core money to purchase another core so we can fill the backorders that we have on that particular part#.

The only discount we offer is a $50 military/1st responders discount. If you serve or have served in the US Military or are a Police Officer, Firefighter, or EMS worker we will knock $50 off the cost of the motor for your service to your country/community.

Transferring the warranty is straightforward. You just need to provide our customer service team with the vehicle᾿s sale documentation and the new owner’s contact information. We᾿ll process the transfer, allowing the new owner to benefit from the remaining warranty period.
